The Story of Us
We met through my sister and two mutual friends of Brendan and my sister, Sara. Bryan worked with
Brendan and was dating my sister (still is). Rachel went to school with my sister and Brendan.
Rachel and Sara apparently knew long before we did that we would really hit it off. I don't
think they knew how right they were! We talked online for a while and decided we wanted to
meet. The first time we met was on a triple date with Sara, Bryan, Rachel, and Andre. We all
went out to the casino. It was an unusual breakdown since Sara, Rachel, and Brendan were
under 21 and Bryan, Andre, and I were over 21. We didn't gamble we just walked around and
looked in the shops. I don't think we said two words to each other all night but we were both
interested. When we got home from the casino we both immediately jumped online to see if the other
was on. We talked for two hours that night. We went out several times on double dates with my
sister and her boyfriend, Bryan. But it took almost a month and some coaching from my sister
before he asked me out (just the two of us). We went to the movies for our first date, I know
typical first date but it was nice. Anyway long story short, well not so long I guess:) after our
first date we were engaged four months later and married six months later. It sounds a lot quicker
than it felt, we just knew we were right for each other. We have been married for two years now and
are loving being married and are growing closer everyday. Everyday we say we couldn't be any closer
than we are right now and everyday we say we are closer than we were yesterday. It has been a very
enjoyable journey together thus far and hopefully will continue to be for years to come!
